My first meeting after his salary was stopped

Jun 25, 2025

Man, I swear, I walked into his place, and it was like… a different world. You know, Mr. kunwer Sachdev, the dude who practically was Su-Kam? He was hunched over a laptop, eyes glued to some WordPress tutorial. WordPress! Like, the stuff I never heard of...

He looked… wrecked. Like, seriously wrecked. The kind of wrecked you see in movies, but way more real. Three months ago, his twins were born, and then boom, NCLT hit, and they stripped him of everything. Everything. Salary? Gone. Savings? Non-existent. Properties? Nada. Shares? You got to be kidding. Insurance? Zip. Zero. Zilch.

And the COC, those cold-hearted suits, they just cut off his salary like it was nothing. Just… click. Suddenly, this guy, who used to run a freakin' empire, was staring at empty pockets and two babies. Can you even imagine?

I sat there, trying to act normal, but inside, I was screaming. Like, how does this happen? How does someone go from Owner of Su-kam to… this? He told me he was learning WordPress. WordPress! Like he was starting from scratch. And then, he drops this bomb: he's got a CEO interview the next day. A CEO interview! After all this!

My heart just broke. I wanted to hand him my wallet, my savings, anything. But he looked at me, and he just… shook his head. "I'll figure it out," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "I always do."

That's when it hit me. This guy, he's not just some businessman. He's a freaking warrior. He could have just given up, wallowed in self-pity, but no. He was learning WordPress, prepping for a CEO gig, rebuilding from the ground up! He was taking all that entrepreneurial spirit, that drive that built Su-Kam, and turning it on himself.

We always hear about entrepreneurs taking risks, but this was a whole new level. He was taking a risk on himself, betting everything on his own ability to bounce back. It's like he was saying, "Screw the corporate ladder, I'll build my own!"

He was quite helpless

And it made me think, what are we even learning in business school? We talk about risk management, diversification, blah blah blah. But we don't talk about this kind of raw, gut-wrenching resilience. We don't talk about the sheer, unadulterated willpower it takes to pick yourself up when you've been knocked down harder than anyone I know.

He could've easily fallen into a pit of despair, but instead he chose to embrace the entrepreneurial side of him and rebuild.

This guy, he's not just a story. He's a lesson. A lesson in what it means to be human, to be strong, to be… a freaking legend. He's proof that even when everything falls apart, you can still find a way to rise. And honestly? That’s the kind of lesson they should be teaching in every classroom.
